Optix analyzes trades you choose to upload. This page says what we hold, where it lives, and how you delete it.
The business model, first
Optix is free during the invite beta and will be a paid subscription after it. We don't sell, rent, or share your email or your trading data — with advertisers, brokers, hedge funds, or anyone else. No ad trackers.
What we collect
On the waitlist: the email you submit, plus the referral code (?ref=) if you arrived through one. In the app: your account email and the brokerage CSV rows you choose to upload (or, if you import by screenshot, the image of your fills screen) — your option fills (ticker, strike, expiry, quantity, price, timestamps) and the analytics we derive from them (greeks, attribution, intraday P&L series).
We never connect to your broker
Optix is CSV-import only. There is no brokerage login and no API key, so there's no connection to revoke and no third party sitting between us and your broker. You hand us a file.
Where it's stored
App data (your account and uploaded trades) lives in Supabase (hosted in the US), scoped to your account with row-level security. Waitlist emails live in Loops (loops.so). The sites are hosted on Vercel, which may log standard request metadata (IP, user agent). Product analytics run on PostHog — named events only; inside the app, session recording and automatic capture are turned off because your dashboard is your real P&L. If you import by screenshot, the image itself is sent to Anthropic's API, read into fill rows, and not retained after the response. Sub-processors are limited to the ones named here: Supabase, Loops, Vercel, PostHog, and Anthropic (screenshot import only).
Share cards are opt-in aggregates
If you share your Mirror, the public card contains only the aggregate snapshot you previewed — verdict, percentages, trade count, and net P&L only if you toggled it on. Never individual trades. You can delete a share at any time and the link goes dead.
Aggregated statistics
We may analyze and publish anonymized, aggregated statistics — things like "the median trader captures 58% of their peaks." These are computed across many accounts and can never be traced back to you or your trades.
Deleting your data
In the app, Delete my data (in the footer) permanently removes every trade and share card from your account — reload and it's gone. To delete your account entirely (including your email), send us a note at a@optix.trade and it's done within 48 hours. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
